Gordes (Luberon)

In the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional du Luberon, in the French department of Vaucluse, Gordes is a hilltop village that perfectly embodies the Provencal art of living, and is listed as one of France's most beautiful villages.

Long neglected, Gordes enjoyed a renaissance in the mid-20th century, when artists and writers found the region a source of inspiration.
