Presentation of the Méribel agency
The Méribel 3 Vallées Sotheby's International Realty agency is located just a few steps from the main artery of Méribel-Centre, alongside the hotels and restaurants that make the reputation of the resort, the best ski destination in the French Alps.
The agency was founded in 2016 by Olivier Roche. Its team of five real estate consultants, fluent in several foreign languages, supports customers in their real estate projects with the utmost professionalism.
Thanks to their in-depth training and cutting-edge expertise in the profession, they successfully meet the requirements of a prestigious international clientele.
Specializing in property transactions and seasonal rentals, the agency boasts a varied portfolio of exceptional chalets and apartments. It also provides its customers with confidential legal and tax advice.
The Méribel real estate market
Situated in the heart of the 3 Valleys, with Courchevel at one end and Val Thorens, Les Bellevilles and Les Menuires at the other, the resort enjoys an ideal location at the heart of the world's largest ski area.
The agency operates in a constantly evolving real estate market, with the arrival of numerous attractive new developments. Our personalized support enables buyers to make the best possible investment, while making the most of their property and the resort's comfortable infrastructure.
Our consultants are attentive to the criteria most sought-after by our customers, whether it's direct access to the slopes for “ski in ski out”, or a location close to the village so you don't have to take the car. In order to satisfy customers staying in Méribel for longer periods, the residences offer luxurious facilities such as spas, work areas and children's play areas.
Méribel: history and heritage
Major Peter Lindsay, a Scottish ski enthusiast, settled in the village of Les Allues (Méribel's official administrative name) in 1936, fleeing the rise of Nazism in the Austrian resorts. A real estate company was quickly created, and in 1938, the Le Doron hotel and a ski lift were built. At the end of the Second World War, Peter Lindsay further developed the resort's construction, calling on French architects Christian Durupt, Paul Grillo and André Dutour, who drew inspiration from traditional Savoyard architecture.
Méribel lives up to its reputation as a family resort, obtaining the Famille Plus label in 2013. It is also renowned for its festive atmosphere on the Grand Front de Neige at La Chaudanne or the Rond-point des Pistes, as well as for Les Folies Douces, those atmospheric bars and high-altitude terraces.
In Méribel, gastronomy also takes pride of place, with Michelin-starred restaurants and the “maître-restaurateur” label. These include the Ekrin, run by renowned chef Laurent Azoulay, and the L'Hélios hotel restaurant.
Méribel Sotheby's International Realty offers excellent support for any real estate project, whether buying, selling or renting a prestigious property. Strategically located in the heart of the 3 Valleys, the Méribel agency offers its customers the benefit of solid expertise based on in-depth knowledge of the resort. What's more, the world-renowned Sotheby's International Realty network guarantees the highest level of service and quality.
